To make sure that the spirit of our community is collaborative, helpful and inspiring we ask everyone to adhere to some guidelines that protect our members from harm. Your participation here is subject to these guidelines.
Practice kindness, remember we are all human
People come to our community to get help with things that impact their professional lives, which can mean a lot to them emotionally. We ask that you always consider the human-being behind the screen, and that how you interact with them could make or break their day. Be kind, show gratitude, avoid judgements or preconceptions, go out of your way to make people feel welcome and respected.
Be intentional about inclusion
The Brandwatch community is an assembly of many types of people who all have a right to feel welcome, safe and comfortable. When making contributions to the community, consider whether the language you’re using might make anyone uncomfortable, unsafe or unwelcome and alter it if so. Any contributions that deliberately attack or exclude specific groups of people will be removed.
Search first
Our community comes equipped with a powerful search engine that can find answers to existing questions far faster than our community can respond to new ones. Please be sure to run a quick search to see if your problem has already been solved.
Contribute
Our community comes to life when people get involved. No matter how big or small your question, insight or comment might be, take the leap and post it! As a community, we agree to treat every contribution with warmth and respect.
Keep it safe
Most people use our community as part of their employment, so if you share something that isn’t safe for work or breaks the law, it will be removed.
Spamming is not OK
Some conversations may warrant or invite an opportunity to recommend a product or service. However, unsolicited promotions, sales or commercial activity isn’t welcome here and will be removed by the Community Team.
