UGC - Are you confident or just confused?

I have found recently in conversations with customers and colleagues that user-generated content (UGC) is still confusing to some people. So I made this asset to make it easy to understand. Because UGC is a key part of modern marketing, and from the stats we’re seeing, it’s not going anywhere. 

Does your team use UGC in your strategy? Or are you planning to? I’d love to know.

If you’re using our Social Media Management tool then hashtag monitoring would be a good starting point using Listen. You can use operators to exclude owned and paid channels. This Boolean Explained article should be useful too.

To provide more guidance it would be helpful to know a little bit more about what you’d like to achieve with the tracking. Do you want to just be able to see it? Volume/content? Or are you keen on being able to repurpose it for yourself? In which case our StoryStream integration may be of interest.
